Dear Members, Partners, Experts, and Scientists,
The Ho Chi Minh City Semiconductor Industry Association (HSIA) is a socio-professional organization of entrepreneurs and engineers from corporations and companies, as well as scientists, lecturers, researchers, and students from universities, research institutes, and organizations operating in the fields of semiconductors, integrated circuits, and electronics. HSIA was established under Decision No. 6568-QD/UBND dated December 25, 2012, issued by the Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee.
Over the past years, with the attention and support of the leaders of the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee, the Ho Chi Minh City Union of Science and Technology Associations, the Department of Science and Technology, the Department of Home Affairs, as well as relevant departments, agencies, and associations, HSIA has worked with its members, enterprises, universities, research institutes, and experts to organize, participate in, and coordinate many professional activities, communication programs, consulting initiatives, training programs, R&D connections, and investment information activities in the fields of integrated circuits, semiconductors, electronics, and related sectors. HSIA aims to make a modest contribution to the development of the electronics industry in particular, and to the economic development of Ho Chi Minh City and Vietnam as a whole.

As the semiconductor and integrated circuit industry plays an increasingly critical role in the advancement of science, technology, and digital transformation, HSIA remains committed to connecting the academic community, enterprises, and regulatory agencies in order to promote a sustainable, innovative, and internationally integrated semiconductor ecosystem.
We believe that, with a spirit of cooperation, knowledge sharing, and aspiration for development, HSIA will continue to serve as an effective bridge in R&D activities and application deployment, contributing to the development of high-quality human resources and enhancing the position of Vietnam’s semiconductor industry in the new era of national advancement.
