Members and Membership Criteria
(HSIA Membership)
Excerpt from Article 8 of the Charter of the Ho Chi Minh City Semiconductor Industry Association, issued
under Decision No. 1116/QD-UBND dated March 21, 2025 by the Chairman of the
Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee.
Members of the Association
Members of the Association include official members, affiliated members, and honorary members.
Membership Type
Official Members
Vietnamese citizens and organizations operating in the fields of integrated circuits, semiconductors,
and electronics, who meet the criteria specified in Clause 2 of this Article, agree with the Association’s Charter,
and voluntarily apply to join the Association, may become official members of the Association.
Membership Type
Affiliated Members
Joint-venture organizations and enterprises, or those with 100% foreign direct investment
(FDI), operating in Ho Chi Minh City, agreeing with the Association’s Charter and voluntarily
applying to join, may be considered and recognized by the Executive Committee as affiliated members.
Membership Type
Honorary Members
Vietnamese citizens and organizations with reputation, experience, and contributions
to the development of the semiconductor industry, who agree with the Association’s Charter and
wish to participate in the Association, may be unanimously invited by the Executive Committee to become
honorary members of the Association.
Scope of Rights and Obligations
Affiliated members and honorary members are entitled to the same rights and obligations as
official members of the Association, except for the right to vote, stand for election to leadership positions,
serve on the Inspection Committee of the Association, and vote on matters of the Association.
