MEMBER RIGHTS
Benefits of Joining the Association
Excerpt from Article 9 of the Charter of the Ho Chi Minh City Semiconductor Industry Association, issued
under Decision No. 1116/QD-UBND dated March 21, 2025 by the Chairman of the
Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee.
Members are protected, engaged, and able to contribute to the Association’s activities
Member rights include the protection of lawful rights and interests, access to information,
participation in activities, discussion of working policies, candidacy, nomination, election,
introduction of new members, commendation, issuance of membership certificates or cards,
and the right to leave the Association.
Protection of Rights and Interests
Members are protected by the Association in terms of their lawful rights and interests
in accordance with the law.
Access to Information
Members are provided with information related to the Association’s fields of activity
and may participate in activities organized by the Association.
Discussion and Recommendations
Members may participate in discussions and decisions on the Association’s working policies
in accordance with the Association’s regulations; they may also make recommendations
and proposals to competent authorities on matters related to the Association’s fields of activity.
Congress, Candidacy, and Election
Members may attend the Congress, stand for election, nominate candidates, and vote for the Association’s bodies,
leadership positions, and Inspection Committee in accordance with the Association’s regulations.
Introduction of New Members
Members may introduce new members to the Association.
Commendation
Members may receive commendations in accordance with the Association’s regulations.
Membership Certification
Members may be issued a membership certificate or membership card.
Withdrawal from the Association
Members may leave the Association when they find that they can no longer continue as members.
Note for Affiliated Members and Honorary Members
Affiliated members and honorary members are entitled to the same rights and obligations as official members,
except for the right to vote on matters of the Association and the right to stand for election, nominate candidates,
or vote for the Association’s Leadership Board and Inspection Committee.
